Story
I was diagnosed with RR MS in August/Sept 2016, just a few weeks before I moved to London. I have been very fortunate to have a very loving and supportive family, husband, group of friends and colleagues as well as access to the best care in London. While my illness can be quite debilitating at times, I'm lucky that I have mostly good days and am able to lead a relatively active and normal life. MS doesn't define me, it's just something I have to live with until a cure is found. But I'm optimistic and am on effective treatments. I even turn my experiences with MS into humour in some of my stand up sets!
However, MS is different for everyone, and I am therefore walking at MS Walk London 2023 to help stop MS and to help provide those suffering from this illness with the resources they need.
