Story

Having reached the grand age of 50 it's time to give something back to the world I live in.  My life has sadly been touched by cancer and has seen my mum, my dad and dear friend Alison all die of cancer.  Mum and Alison in their 40's. CLAN offers both cancer sufferers and their family support, through very difficult times and has always impressed me with the range of support they give, from accommodation for families who do not live locally, to reflexology and art classes to help patients adapt and heal during treatment. CLAN have to move to new premises and require significant funding to help with the move.  Life is a wonderful rich journey and I have been blessed with good health, which has motivated me to take on the challenge of cycling from Vietnam to Cambodia, two countries I have longed to see.  I hope you will dig deep in support of CLAN, and please feel free to pass on this link to anyone you know who has benefited or supports CLAN.  I will try to keep you posted on my progress if technology allows. I really appreciate you supporting me in my challenge and with your donations.   Shirley x
