#GivingTuesday 2016 · 29 November 2016 ·
Shoosmiths LLP in MK are getting involved in the #GivingTuesday Corporate Challenge which is taking place on Tuesday 29 November 2016 - and we need your support!
As a group we are hoping to raise as much money as possible for the Milton Keynes Community Foundation in the run up to, and during, the event.
Why are we raising money?
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving. It is an opportunity to come together and give something back to the community that we live and/or work in - Milton Keynes.
1 in 5 children in Milton Keynes are living in poverty.
MK Community Foundation will use all the donations and money we raise to make grants to projects that are tackling the effects of child poverty in Milton Keynes. The wellbeing of a child's early years has a significant impact on their long-term education, job prospects and health. With Milton Keynes thriving, we believe it's important to do all that we can to ensure our most vulnerable children are not left behind!
What is the challenge?
We will be taking part in a series of physical and mental challenges throughout the day. The winner of each category will win the acclaim of their fellow competitors and a warm feeling of pride. Some of the categories include:
The team that raises the most money will win the super shiny #GivingTuesday Corporate Challenge Trophy!
We will be live tweeting our antics throughout the day for the enjoyment and amusement of all!
What are you waiting for?
We don't know! Click to donate! Get involved, support a worthwhile cause, make a difference! Laugh at a bunch of solicitors and trainees making fools of themselves!
ANY LEVEL OF SUPPORT IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED BY US ALL!
