Story

I have recently retired from rugby due to being made of glass, so I needed a new focus, something challenging and rewarding hence triathlons. I've spend most of 2016 competing in sprint races (750m swim, 20k bike, 5k run) and aim to step up to Olympic in 2017 (1500m swim, 40k bike, 10k run). In June I've entered into the ironman staffs 70.3 which is 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike & 13.2 mile run, quite a large step up in length but an achievable target that will push me hard.

I have also entered into the weekend warrior at the London Triathlon. Over 2 days the aim is to run as many sprint triathlons as I can, I plan to try and complete 8 (4 each day) which in total will be 3.7 miles of swimming, 96 mile of biking and 24 miles of running 😭😭

I have now also added in a 12 hour catton park run on the 30th April I plan to run 10 laps of the 6 mile course in 12 hours

I'm supported Macmillan cancer trust, an amazing charity that helps so many people. We all know someone that has relied on their care and support, please give anything you can the smallest donations can have a massive impact on this charity

Thanks again

Shummy
