Story

Dear Friends

On the 25th of April I am running the London Marathon. This may seem as a bit of a shock to you and you may wonder as to what is a big fat Iranian doing running such a long distance. I myself wake up every morning and wonder the same thing!

In the unfortunate event that I meet my maker I would be most grateful if you could look after my wife and three children in the style that they are accustomed to. Meanwhile I would be most grateful if you could donate generously to two very worthwhile causes which are Mothers & Children and Kisharon.

Mothers & Children charity was set up in 1990 after the disastrous earthquake in Gilan province left over 40,000 dead and half a million homeless. Three years later  the Bam earthquake occurred which was even more horrific and since then they have built schools and houses and nurtured orphans. Kisharon provides educational services, vocational training opportunities and residential care for children and adults with learning disabilities. Please see : www.kisharon.org.uk

I do hope I will make it and I live to tell the tale !! Thank you for your generous support.

 Yours

 Mac
