Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It's only a half marathon but I feel extremely privileged to be able to travel to California to do it and I think every opportunity should be used to support charity work. I haven't run one in a while, it'll be hot and I am aiming for a sub 2 hour time so I will need to put in money worthy effort!

I am currently working in Paediatric Radiology which got me thinking about the bigger picture of what's happening elsewhere in the World, to the most vulnerable of all. Lots of children don't have access to basic supplies.... £23 can feed a child for a month and provide over 5000 water purification tablets. Some children do have these basic needs met but simply aren't safe. Unicef are doing their best to change this.
