On 10th October 2021 Irene’s son in law Marcus, Sian’s best friend Laura (one of Irene’s honorary daughters) and another friend Jam are running the Silverstone half marathon in memory of Irene and hope to raise even more money for Forever Angels in her memory. We would be very grateful for any sponsorship towards a cause very close to Mum’s heart. 

We have had many people ask if they could make a donation in memory of Mum to a charity she supported. We chose Forever Angels because ever since I (Sian) travelled there to volunteer for the first time in 2013 Mum has continued to support them - buying their Christmas cards and calendars each year, sponsoring a child there and being thrilled to receive the gift cards. We know she would be delighted to think that money could be raised to support such a wonderful charity in her memory.
