As most who know us, Emmie has a little known condition called Congenital Myotonic Dystrophy.  This is a life limiting condition that can have multiple affects on the body, including the cardiovasular, neurological and musclar systems.

Emmie is doing remarkably well and whilstshe is still growing stronger every day, unfortunately other children with this condition are not so lucky and some are no longer with us.

Whilst Emmie is able we are keen to keep her as active as possible and, since being kindly donated a bike, a triathlon seems like the perfect opportunity to raise money for research into a cure, something which no longer seems so far fetched. 

Finn will be joining his sister in this challenge and they would both love you to sponsor them. They will be doing a 150m lake swim, 1km run and 3km and Allan and I will be their side kicks to make sure they're safe.
