December 2010 is the date my life changed forever ! - no thanks to the ignorance of my GP who said I was making up symptoms in my head, I finally had an answer to months of pain and was diagnosed with SLE Lupus...

Lupus changed my normal life forever... I can no longer do all the things I once did.  Planning a simple night out can tire me out for days after. The constant side effects of medications means every day is a new challenge...

Having an "invisible illness" where u look ok on the outside whilst your body is self destructing on the inside is tough... People judge on what they see and get fed up off hearing "still not feeling well today - change the record"..

It never occurred to me that one day I'd wake up sick and never get better.

When the going gets tough... the tough get going !!!   I am a LUPUS WARRIOR and I will NOT give up without a fight.

Please help me to RAISE AWARENESS for LUPUS and pray that one day a cure will be found, God Willing.
