Story

It's time to combine three of my favorite things: running, traveling, and advocating for WeSeeHope!

With both the Chicago and NYC marathons under my belt, and a slot for Boston in 2024 (qualified with a 3:16 race in Chicago last October!), I've decided to continue taking on all six Abbott World Marathon Majors (Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago, and NYC). There was no better next step than running the 2023 London marathon in support of my favorite non-profit, WeSeeHope.

WeSeeHope has long been a Qlik partner, and I had the fortune to visit Malawi with WeSeeHope in 2018 to witness the work they do in person. It will forever be one of the greatest, and smileyest, weeks of my life.

WeSeeHope is committed to creating sustainable change for vulnerable children in Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe through community-led and skills-based programs. They focus primarily on education, child rights and economic empowerment and their aim is that vulnerable children have the skills to change their own futures, and that their families and communities are able to support them along the way.

I'll do the hard work (you can follow my training on Strava), all I need from you are a few quid to make the victory all the sweeter! Please visit their website for more information - www.weseehope.org.uk. Thank you for visiting my page and supporting my challenge - please hit the donate button now to help me reach my target!
