Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

Thanks for visiting our page. For our fundraiser this year we are part of the Siemens 'Mud Sweat and Beers' team (formed by Michaela), taking part in the Born Survivor event in Sept'15.
As a team of 50+ people, we will be tackling the ultimate military obstacle course designed by British Royal Marines Commandos, completing a brutal 10k course, which features more than 30 military-inspired obstacles across some seriously unforgiving terrain. Take a look! :http://www.born-survivor.com/courses/

We are continuing to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, a partner charity of the Born Survivor event, in memory of Andrew Smart, a much loved and inspirational best friend, brother and uncle, who sadly passed away 15 years ago, aged just 28 years, as a result of Cystic Fibrosis (CF).

The CF Trust fund research into finding a cure for CF, and they do expect a cure to be found. Whilst this is too late for Andrew, it would not be for the many other individuals and families affected today by one of the UK's most common, life-threatening, inherited diseases.

Together, our Siemens team hope to raise over £7,000, for the CF trust and Ali and I are hoping to raise over £500 towards this. We appreciate any donations you can make that will help us achieve this target.

We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
