Story
Sigma Systems are pleased to sponsor the "Mow for Me Too" charity event, in support of the Me Too & Co charity.
Me Too & Co is a UK-based charity close to heart of one of Sigma's executives, Catherine Michel. Her son George was diagnosed with severe cerebral palsy almost 3 years ago. Since then, like many other families, Catherine has relied heavily on the charity to give her son opportunities to develop and to provide critical support on raising a disabled child.
As it is a charity, Me Too & Co is solely dependent upon the contributions of others. So the "Mow for Me Too" event is intended to raise money to help fund Me Too & Co's continued efforts to provide a wide range of support services to many other disabled children and their families.
Fashioned after Movember, "Mow for Me Too" is a month long competition within Sigma for anyone willing and able to just grow some facial hair - grow it long, grow it crazy, grow it stylish - and get your friends, families and colleagues to pledge donations in support of your efforts.
Mow it, grow it, and mow it again.
We'll be posting photos of people's progression (or regression) every week and awarding special prizes for all sorts of categories.
So please join us is supporting a charity that has made a difference to so many special needs children and their families. And please don't forget to ask your friends, families and colleagues to donate.
