The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to the age of 24 that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other conditions.The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.

I am off backpacking in Less than 3 weeks (06/11/19) & I have been debating whether or not to get my hair cut short or keep it long, which will be easier to manage etc. This morning I realised how lucky I am to have hair that grows so quickly & my mind wondered to the thought of loosing my hair. 

We all take so much of what we have for granted. How many of us go to the hairdresser's on a regular basis, we do it because it need a trim or you want a new look or to treat yourself. We get ready, comb & style our hair everyday but why? Can you imagine not having hair, have you realised how much your hair makes you feel good, gives you confidence & empowers you?

I decided to start this fundraising page with the goal to raise enough money for at least two wigs to be made - they cost a whopping £350 each to make.  So When I have reached my target I will find myself a local hairdresser (depending where I am in the world) & go for the chop!

I would like to grow my hair long enough so I can donate over 16 inches, right now I am able to donate about 8/9 inches. I will still get it chopped while I'm backpacking & I hope I find a good hairdresser 😳
