We enable donors around the world to support forgotten people in Zimbabwe

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So as you all are aware we are in very uncertain times due to the COVID 19 out break, this has blocked all contact and unnecessary travel.

I was thinking of things I could do to try and help others in need and people who are not only suffering from this terrible virus but other illnesses and extreme poverty. That’s why I will be doing this event to raise money and spread awareness for the people in Zimbabwe by fundraising for the charity ZANE, founded by my grandfather (Tom Benyon).

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic I have decided to do something that is extremely challenging but involves being in my home environment

  • What I am doing? I am going to be walking up as many steps as it would take to walk Mount Everest
  • How many steps would I have to walk up? Mount Everest is 8,848m that is a total of 53 thousand steps!
  • How long would it take? I aim to do it in two weeks
I do have to point out that I am not doing this for myself and to be a hero, I am doing this for Zimbabwe and people who are suffering and have not enough money to pay for food and medicine.

I would appreciate it so much if you would show your support by donating and sharing this to other people who may help!

Thank you all for your time!
