Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page in memory of Simon.
In September 2017 Simon died after losing his battle with cancer. His last few days were spent at Prospect Hospice being cared for by the amazing nurses and doctors and staff. They enabled him to leave us peacefully and at peace.
They not only cared for Simon but they supported all of us, doing everything they could for me, his children, his brother, sisters and friends and we would love to be able to give back as much as possible.
Simon lived life to the fullest, challenging himself with running the Great South more than once, walking the Three Peaks and many more crazy ideas. He adored spending time with his family and friends and Portsmouth FC (not always in that order! ;)) and was often seen relaxing with a glass of Red Wine in his hand or a pint of Cider.
We think he would find it funny that we are now going to be carrying on his tradition of fundraising and this year we will be pushing ourselves by...
Walking 15K in the night walk for Prospect
Cycling from his house to Fratton Park, the home of his beloved Portsmouth FC
And doing the London Marathon Walk too
If you would like to help us on the way that would be great, or if you could donate the money for a glass/bottle of red in his name that would be amazing.
