London Triathlon 2014 · 2 August 2014 to 3 August 2014 ·

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

It's not often I try to heckle money out of people for sponsorship, having only ever done the Manchester 10K...!

This year I am really challenging myself with the London Triathlon. this involves me swimming for a mile, followed by a 26 mile bike ride and then a 6 mile run... ouch!! Quite daring for someone that cant really swim!

I'm doing this to challenge myself, but also raise money for Leukemia research. I have lost two good friends in my life to this horrible illness, Gavin Green whilst at high school, and also Andi Cartwright last year. Both taken from us way to soon.

Please help me to complete this challenge by donating anything you can spare to this charity. So many lives are affected by cancer each year and I have first hand experience of how money donated to these charities really does make a difference to the lives of those affected.
