In March 2010 a team of five Channel Islanders will be attempting to ski across Baffin Island in the Canadian Arctic via the Akshayuk Pass. Pulling all their equipment, food and fuel in pulks (sledges) across the worlds 5th largest island in temperatures as low as -40deg C, the team hope to make it safely across in 10 days.

The team of Simon Elmont, Steve Wright, Mark Wordsworth, Dec Gaudion and Mike Doyle are trying to raise £1000 for charity, please support them by making a small donation.
