Simon's Eleven 22k Challenge

Simon Evans is raising money for Aching Arms

Eleven 22k Challenge · 22 November 2021

Aching Arms, bringing comfort after loss. We bring hope and comfort to bereaved parents' aching arms by giving a teddy bear to hold. Each bear, is given in memory of another precious baby's life lost too soon and is a gift with love from one family to another.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Completing Eleven x 22K runs (to represent 22nd November) for Aching Arms in the memory of our Baby Evans that we lost. A 22K run on the 22nd of each month for eleven months. All money raised is going direct to Aching Arms for bears for other families.

Aching Arms was able to help my wife, when I was unable to, providing a bear, to hold, gifted from another family that had lost a baby. This small gift, helped show us we were not alone, being part of a club that nobody wants to be part of, but is so kind and supportive.

I started this thinking it was for my baby, wife, and Aching Arms but the running really helped me too.
