Simon's Arctic Coast Highway challenge

Arctic Coast Highway challenge · 4 July 2015
Hi,
My name is Simon Ewbank and I love adventures.
My plan is on the 4th July 2015, to start in the UK and ride my trusty Triumph Tiger adventure bike to Dover, jump on a ferry and start a 5,000 mile trip to the Arctic Circle.
I will be riding through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
The Arctic Coast Highway is a road that spans over 800 miles of tarmac, starting a Mo I Rana in Norway and heads North. Before I turn round and come back I would have got to within 22.5 degrees of the North Pole.
This I can only do in the summer as Norway is pretty well cut off in the winter.
I am doing this for Target Ovarian Cancer as my partner Kate will be going under the knife soon to have her Ovaries removed. Her nan died of the cancer several years ago and I thought it would be a good charity to support.
I hope to raise more than £1,000 but thought I would start at this figure.
Please support me and all the woman out there that have been effected by the cancer.
Thanks
