Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year I am on the bicycle yet again! This time I am raising money for the Friendship Works charity by racing in the 100 mile Olympic road race route on August 4th 2013. This will be a very tough challenge as it is a continous race with no coffee stops or sighseeing along the way! It also includes the dreaded Box hill loop in Surrey which I am not looking forward too!
Friendship Works is a charity offering mentoring support to help children and young people who are having problems growing up in their home and social environment. Our service is completely free of charge and is funded entirely through voluntary contributions.
FW currently reach over 150 children and young people aged 5-16 across three London boroughs of Camden, Islington and Southwark.
They are a very small charity and therefore every last pound is vital to its sustained success.
