12 months ago I noticed a cry for help on social media looking for a guide to walk along with John Evans an ex-veteran from East Devon. So me being me was up for the challenge with no idea what I had let myself in for. After completing the event with John and attending a number of training activities with Blind Veterans UK. How could
I not sign up for a second year. Not only is it an honour but a life changing journey I will never forget.

This year we are doing it slightly different copying from an inspirational leader we meet last year who travelled over from Germany with her Soldiers to undertake the 100K event in Military style. So I have 7 Soldiers who are members of my team supporting John and myself this year on 2/3 July. With Soldiers walking with our blind veterans, volunteers etc brings laughter, banter and a smile to all of us as we embark a challenge of a lifetime from London to Brighton.
