As I start slipping into my later 40's I thought it time to give a bit back.

I will be taking part in The Christie charity bike ride between Manchester and Blackpool, a gruelling 60 mile trek for this novice cyclist!

Each and every pound donated makes a real difference to patients, their families and friends. The Christies provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds, focusing on 4 main areas, research, care and treatment, education and extra patient services. With your support, we can carry out more research, give more people the very best treatment and care – and save even more lives.

As for me I'm not sure what condition i will be in at the finish but I will finish!
