Story

It was just over a year ago that my father died as he lost his long battle with cancer.

The last months of his life were hard and he spent a great deal of time being cared for at St. Willfreds Hospice in Eastbourne. This hospice operates purely from charitable donations. The level of care that the staff provided to him kind of blew me away. Most of the staff are volunteers working for free. The job that they all do is just unbelievable. Maybe some of you have been affected by cancer... maybe some of you have already had experience of these types of places and if you haven’t and have never seen how these Hospices operate then you should probably consider yourself lucky!

So Im gonna try raise some much needed money for this particular hospice by running the Chester marathon in October. Believe me the training and the running of it is gonna kill me.I was strong armed into doing this by my running partner James Troke.

So I would love it if you all stuck your hand in your pocket and donate what you can to this amazing, amazing cause.

Thanks guys

Simon
