I am cycling an 84 mile sportive round the south of Northamponshire on the 27th October.

I am doing this to raise money for the MSA trust which is a little known disease which my dad had and died from a year and a half ago.  WHen my family couldnt get answers from the various doctors and nurses the MSA trust stepped in and were of great support over the last few years of my dad's life.

My Dad had been unwell for several years and after countless doctors appointment his illness was suspected to be MSA in 2008 and it was confirmed in August 2009.

My parents struggled to find any information and with great help from my sister found the MSA trust who helped with any required information, helped them make contact with people in similar situations and advice on any issues.

My Dad passed away on 28th October 2011 and his funeral was on the 4th of November which was the day my wife had twins.  I feel that due to all the emotions on that day I have not had time to grieve properly and with this being two years almost to the day would be a great thing to do to support the charity and hopefully in my own small way raise awareness.  

The charity is ran completely on money raised so any donation would be gratefully recieved and hopefully allow the MSA trust to help families as they did with mine.
