Last year Ruth and I and 50 other riders took part in the Tour De Farrier bike ride in aid of the Farriers Foundation. Incredibly we all managed to raise over £25,000 for a fantastic charity. Over the past year the Foundation has helped numerous Farriers that have needed support and help for many different reasons. Some have had horrific accidents, suffered critical illness, or been unable to work for other reasons. The Farriers Foundation has been there every step of the way to support these Farriers and their families, through some tough times. To have the Foundation there to support them in times of need is invaluable. 

It is for these reasons that we will be putting on the Lycra again and doing the Tour De Farrier 2018. Every pedal stroke, will be for all the farriers that currently need help.
