Paul has been a friend for over 20 years, the last 6 Paul spent fighting cancer, a fight he unfortunately lost, but not without a bloody good fight.

Like all that knew Paul, I am extremely saddened by his early passing and I know he has left a life time of memories for us to share and remember.

I found Paul's fight against cancer and his unwavering positivity very humbling and we are all the poorer by his passing.

I've never run 10k, nor personally raised money for Cancer Research, but I feel driven to take this challenge, honoured it's in Paul's memory and proud my eldest daughter, Alex, is helping my quest.

The Wigan 10K is on Sunday 7th September.

With your help, research will hopefully continue discovering treatments and/or cures to fight cancer which in turn might help prevent others, like Paul, being taken from us too early.
