The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

Thank you for stopping by my page. I feel really really fortunate to once again be lucky enough to gain a place in the London Marathon. It’s my 3rd time to run this race and the 2nd for the FANTASTIC Guide Dogs. The charity is close to my heart as I have seen first hand from family and patients the devastating effect sight loss can cause. The dogs are just the most amazing beings and when I met them last year after I finished it made it SO worthwhile.

Finally; I’m also doing this run again for my wonderful Dad; he desperately wanted to run a Marathon and so I’m doing it for him too.... finally finally; the London Marathon race is 40 this year and so am I so it feels even more right!
