Simon Middleton sadly passed away on 27th July 2009 from head injuries at Kettering General Hospital after spending 2 days in the Intensive Care Unit.

During Simon's time in ICU his family and friends were by his bedside. The staff at the ICU made all the difference to us during this time offering us a room with chairs and a bed and letting us go into see Simon whenever we wanted.

The Ward Manager - June Thomas - was so kind, helpful and caring.

So in July 2010 it will be one year since Simon was so suddenly taken from us and in his memory we will be doing some fund raising for KGH ICU! We all miss him so much and need to feel like we are doing something so.........

We have a golf day arranged on 20th June, 6 people are doing a sky dive and we have a charity day arrange on 24th July at the Crows Nest in Irthlingborough starting at 10am and lasting through the day and night where we will have head shaving, raffle (1st prize is a helicopter ride for 2!), Hot air balloon ride auction, Bouncy castle, face painting, sponsored strip, Tug of War, Tyre flipping, sack race, Karaoke and much much more!
