OK, it is not exactly climbing Everest, but as a man who drinks endless coffees and juices every day, and (according to some) endless beers and wines at weekends, it is a small challenge. 

Yes, almost the least I can do, but, it is something.

As many of you will know I have spent a lot of time with work and on holiday in India in the last few years, in fact it is just about the only part of my old job I miss! While there, and since, I have looked at doing what little I can to help make those small differences to peoples lives. I realised very early that there is no way to "fix it all" so helping with the basics is a great start.

Having seen Frank Water at WOMAD the last few years, and seeing this small challenge I thought I would do my bit, and so from when I wake on Monday 1st September until I go to bed on Sunday 7th my only drink will be tap water. Something most of us do without a thought every day, but something many people currently live an entire life without.

Give anything, I am not in it for glory, whatever you were just about to spend on a coffee, that will do, it will save a life.
