Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  Please would you consider sponsoring me on my 3,000 mile, 15 day "Lift for Lifelites Returns" challenge in May?  I am raising funds to support the work of Lifelites donating specialist technologies to enhance the short lives of children using hospice services. 

Lift for Lifelites is back... and this time it's serious...(only joking)

Yes, OK, I know, I know.  I said: "Never again!"  Well, of course that was last year...  Lift for Lifelites was such a resounding success in 2018 and our supporters were clamouring for more, so we felt we just had to do it again.  

Of course, this time it's going to be even bigger and better. Taking in every county in England and Wales - plus the Isle of Man and the Channel Isles - the list of weird and wonderful transport is growing  - canal boat, bubble car, ride on lawn-mower, four wheel buggy, fire truck, scooter, Venetian motor boat, cable car, steamer, train, tram, trike and plane (to name but a few).  

It all kicks off on Friday 10 May and I will spend the next 15 days bouncing around the country from pitstop to pitstop, being transported by volunteers in their vehicles and grabbing photos at famous landmarks along the way.  3,000 miles and 14 hotels - it's going to be exhausting, but hey, there's no point in doing it if it isn't a challenge.

Why am I putting myself through this again?  I believe that every child - whatever their abilities or anticipated life-span - has the right to live their lives to the full. With Lifelites technologies, we can help them to do just that.
