Tŷ Hafan is a charity that provides palliative care to life-limited children and young people, care is often given over a number of years and they have helped over 400 families. Tŷ Hafan organise a variety of fundraising events throughout the year and have organised this year an 'Olympic It's a Knockout' competition for teams from Contact Centres all over Wales to enter.

There will be 30 other teams representing their Contact Centre on the 21 July 2012 at South Wales Police Sports Ground, where you are all welcome to come along, watch and support us. Refreshment stands will be open for you to purchase food and drink throughout the day.

It’s a knockout Competition will be like the show that was on the TV years ago (and yes before you have a dig about my age it was before my timeJ). The event will involve competitive team games and activities, each game will include either diving through or over a giant inflated obstacle, tip toeing through tropical pools or sliding on a slippery mat. The team that has the highest score over the series of events will be put forward to the final to be crowned It’s a Knockout Olympic champion

Entering this competition are myself and my team who all work for Logica in Waterton, Bridgend. The team is made up of Managers, Team Leaders and Agents who want to raise money for such a good cause.
Not only are we really excited about raising money while having fun we’re really aiming to win on the day! We're all extremely competitive as we work in sales and seeing as we're team Jamaica we think we stand a good chance! (Plus we have a secret weapon!)
