I am raising money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer as Claire Jecks, my brother (Francois)'s girlfriend, has inspired me to do something for a great cause. Claire battled breast cancer during the course of last year with admirable persistance and good humour. Despite everything she was put through she continued to be strong, supportive to others, up beat and an inspiration, also while planning their move to Oz! She also kept herself fit and healthy at all times. If she can do that while going through chemo, the least I can do is drag myself around a couple of triathlons! I am taking part in the sprint distance triathlon at the Virgin Active London triathlon this weekend, Saturday 27 July, and the Tri for Life triathlon, another sprint distance, on Sunday 8 September.
