I will be running to raise funds to support the vital work Age Concern Lewisham and Southwark (ACLS) provide to thousands of older people in those two Boroughs.

Let me tell you a little bit about the charity.....(clear of throat)..

ACLS is a local trusted charity that has over 30 years of experience providing a wide range of services to improve life for older people. They support older people that are challenged with poverty, illness, poor physical health and wellbeing, isolation and mental health distress. At Christmas time the charity continues to support older people by visiting them at home, providing cooked meals and some company, as this time of year can be a very lonely and depressing when you are on your own.

ACLS provides a range of services including Day Care, Help at Home, Healthly Living, Information & Advice and Outreach services, and also provide volunteering opportunities across all service areas.
