On the 31st august 2005,when my son,Xander was just nine months old, I was diagnosed with breast cancer!

Being told you have cancer is absolutely devastating,you automatically fear the worst! But I'm living proof that it's not always bad news!

I have now been cancer free for seven years & 6 months & I'm feeling great. I'm very grateful to be alive & to see Xander grow up!

I wanted to be able to give something back as I know that without all the research that has gone into cancer over the years,my prognosis probably wouldn't have been as good!

I'm thrilled to be doing my second 20 mile Ribbonwalk with my wonderful friend Caroline at Leeds Castle, Kent on the 8th June.It's such a fun way to raise money for something that is very close to so many of us.

I would be so grateful if you could spare a pound or two & sponsor me!
