I must be slightly mad but every year I watch the London Marathon on TV and think 'I wish I was runing that, I wonder if I could'.  Well here's my chance to prove it, I am officially signed up and running for The Children's Society (I say running, but probably shuffling is a more accurate description of what I will be doing).

The Children's society works with tens of thousands of children in England every year.  Children who are experiencing violence, neglect, poverty and isolation on a daily basis.  The Children's Society intervene, rescue and provide ongoing support to Children that have been living in fear and importantly with time they enable these children to be children again.
