The inspiration for Raising Money for Prostate Cancer was when Lucy's Grandpa Roy contracted prostate cancer during the later years of his life.

Lucy was overwhelmed by the nursing care he had from the staff at the City Hospital Nottingham which was second to none. They did all they could for him but what they weren't able to do was cure him .

The goal is to help as many people as possible and, through  Prostate Cancer UK, to try to find a cure for this disease and bring an end to the suffering not only of the men going through this but the families and friends who go through it too.

Lucy & Aled are joining forces together and are raising money in two very different ways :

First ....Up is 

Aled - (Lucy's Partner) he will be in Swansea on the  11th March 2018 Jumping out of a Aeroplane ! This is a personal challenge that takes courage and bravery plus 10,000ft is very high as you can imagine.

In order for Aled do this, we would like to raise £800.00 for the charity to help fund further research into cures for prostate cancer! This is a charity very close to our hearts and would appreciate any sponsor, no matter how big or small! Every little helps.

Second ...If you like to party !!

Lucy hosted a Charity Ball on the 28th October 2017 at the Nottinghamshire Golf Club in Cotgrave.

Which was a huge success thank you to all that attended :)
