Camino de Santiago Trek for Breast Cancer Now · 22 September 2018
The sisters are back at it again! Deirdre Quinn, Pauline Sewell, and Eileen Lover are taking on a new challenge this year - they will hike the Camino de Santiago trail in order to raise money for the UK's largest breast cancer research charity, Breast Cancer Now. The donations made on this page will support vital research efforts towards the goal of completely eliminating breast cancer by the year 2050.
The Camino de Santiago de Compostela is one of the world's oldest pilgrim routes in Europe, located in northwest Spain. The trek will take place from Saturday, September 22nd to Saturday, September 29th. These women will follow the French Route, which starts in Samos, Spain and end the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, approximately 80 miles in length. This route has given rise to historic and religious sites that represent centuries of European architecture at its best.
