Michaela was a member of Sing in the City.  She was in the Bruntsfield choir and part of the Alto section.  

She had already fought cancer by the time she joined us and just as she hoped she would be given a break and stay in remission, it came back.  

Noone ever heard her complain, or moan or be anything other than lovely, positive, strong, couragous and smiley.  She battled on but it wasn't to be and she died on the 7th February 2014.

At some point this year Sing in the City will do a fundraiser for her but just now, it makes me so proud that that we have 3 teams entered into the Edinburgh team marathon this year and they have all decided to Run 4 Michaela.  

One of her favourite charities was the Teenage cancer trust.
