In our own imperfect and sometimes contradictory ways - talking it through, and always trying to learn as we go - Rosie and Danny share an interest and 'impatient optimism' for the global challenge of our generation: namely the achievement of a just (i.e. fair and equitable) climate transition.

Cool Earth runs forest protection and sustainable livelihoods initiatives in some of the world's most urgent deforestation frontiers in the Peruvian Amazon, the Congo Basin, and Southeast Asia. Cool Earth's vision is a world where topical deforestation and degradation has no role in climate change. Rainforest is our global safety net. Supporting local people protect it is the smartest, most positive climate action there is.
