In Memory of Smudger

Ian Robert Smith, Smudger, BothFeet passed away on Sunday 3th January 2016 having never recovered from a massive stroke on Christmas Eve.
So many were touched by the enormous personality, integrity and heart of Ian. In memory of the man he was we would ask rather than send or bring flowers to the funeral please donate to the UK charity Help for Heroes. Ian served in the Royal Signals for 12 years, he was a peacekeeper in Bosnia and served in the Gulf War during the 1990s.
Thank you for all the messages of love and support, we continue to be incredibly moved by them. They have given us great comfort.
Our thanks to the staff in the Acute Stroke Unit and the Neuro Intensive Care Unit at St George's Hospital in Tooting who did the NHS proud with the quality of care Ian received during his stay.
His funeral is still in planning stages, we will post more details as we know them.
Much love, Melanie, Madelyn, Simon, Piper, Stuart, Julie, April, John and Fiona xxx
