Snowdon Trek for Water Well · 5 September 2020

Since it was established in 2008, The Zahra Trust has provided millions of people across hundreds of communities throughout the world with relief and development aid. We aim to alleviate suffering, poverty and disadvantage as a result of conflict, natural disaster and discrimination.

Story

We are a group of 37 people who will be Trekking Mount Snowdon on Saturday the 5th of September.

We want to raise £1,500 to build a Water Well in Afghanistan / Pakistan to provided access to a clean, sustainable source of water for families with Zahra Trust charity.

We will depart Luton after fajr 445am in MeA centre

We will arrive iA at 8am and ascend the mountain for 4hrs and hold a majlis in english and urdu on the mountain and recite Quran (by a brother who is hafiz) and pray zuhr jamat before we descend for 3hrs down and return to luton around 8pm iA

It will be a full 15hr+ day and a unique opportunity to remember Imam Hussain a.s and Karbala on Snowdon.
