"Am I still on this feckin' Island?" · 31 October 2014

Amnesty International UK is movement of ordinary people standing up for humanity and human rights. Some of our campaigns includes refugees, climate change, children's rights, women's rights, and conflict-affected countries. When we unite even the smallest acts of humanity make a difference.

Story

Hi! Annie (sometimes known as The Dice Bag Lady) is going to be entirely sober for all of - not just September, but October as well, a challenging task for such a booze hound. By sober, no drop of alcohol is allowed to pass her scummy mouth, not even a cheeky beer!

Oh but not drinking the sweet nectar of alcohol for a whole two months is torture right? Nope, being beaten, electrocuted, having your face cut, having your fingernails pulled out.. that''s torture, and it's happening right now, all over the world.

Amnesty International is an amazing human rights organisation who's work really really helps out people in all sorts of, well, rubbish situations.

£10
Helps them put pressure on politicians and policy makers to protect human rights around the world.
£24
Allows their experts to attend international government meetings and stand up for human rights.
£50
Enables them to send researchers around the world to investigate reports of torture and abuse.

So please, chuck some coins over and let's do something decent. I'm not the sort to do endless marathons or backpack the world in a mankini (ow), but hey who knows, if this works maybe I'll do something crazier next time - but for now, this is crazy enough hey!

Cheers for reading,
