Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page! We're a small group of 10 young people from Cambridge wanting to make a difference to our local community. When deciding a charity, we felt it was crucial to chose an under represented sector of society. This is why we have decided on Cambridge Women's Refuge Centre (CWRC), who offer a safe space for all women (eg. refugees, the homeless) and aid them in furthering their prospects. Around 1/3 of women lose their homes and possessions whilst inside prison, and there is often very little support upon release without the help of charities such as CWRC. Close to half of all women have reported being victims of domestic violence, childhood sexual abuse and abuse other wise: this is why places like this are so important. It offers the women of Cambridgeshire a safe space to go, without men, and seek advice or simply have a chat. 

To honour such a wonderful cause, we will be completing a combines total of 100km, any donations would be greatly appreciated.
