Story

We are primary school teachers in Jersey and have decided to challenge ourselves to complete a different fitness challenge every month throughout the year of 2021.

For many, we are sure this list would be a breeze. However, this is us. We have never ran more than 5.01K, we have never even contemplated signing up for a Triathlon and sometimes we complete a grand total of 50 steps a day...

The 2021 challenges:

January: Complete a 10K run without stopping or walking any of it!

February: Do 50 squats everyday for the whole month.

March: Do 50 sit ups everyday for the whole month.

April: Cycle a total of 400K (unfortunately not on an Evie bike which would be our preferred choice!)

May: Run 3K in under 16 minutes.

June: Sea swim everyday for the whole month.

July: Complete our first ever Jersey Super Sprint Triathlon.

August: By 31st August, be able to hold the plank for 4 minutes.

September: Complete half a million steps in the month.

October: Complete our first ever Half Marathon (wish. us. luck.)

November: Complete 50 burpees everyday for the whole month.

December: Complete 5K in under 26 minutes.

Then... CELEBRATE!

Jersey Children's Charity is a local charity that is dedicated to helping sick children and their families in Jersey. We know what a fantastic job everyone on the Special Care Baby Unit and Robin Ward do to help the children of Jersey and we wanted to use this year to try and raise as much money as possible for them. Any donations and support would be greatly appreciated!

Wish us luck... we are going to need it!
