We have once again agreed to take part in a charity trek to raise money for those less fortunate than us, especially after the last couple years due to COVID.  There are many folk out there in need of help financially and mentally and we would like to contribute towards this.

Our trek starts in the village of Edale itself.  It starts gently but this soon changes as we ascend up to the top of the 1st summit, Mam Tor.  With the initial hard bit done we will enjoy the views at the 'Great Ridge' as we head to Lose Ridge, where we will descend down into the valley.  A 2nd climb to the summit of Win Hill is then rewarded with an easier walk heading northward.  A final climb towards Crookstone Knoll, then we head back down into Edale for a well deserved drink .

The walk is 20 km and has over 800 m ascent.
