As many of you know, in August of this year, my best friend and hubby to be was diagnosed with throat cancer. Nothing could have prepared us for the shock. Instead of planning an intimate wedding in May 2014 with some close friends and family, we were instead faced with the unwelcome reality of an aggressive treatment programme of radio and chemotherapy. But we're in with a fighting chance, and our outlook remains optimistic. So this is for you Bill Montgomery, my biggest inspiration who reminds me everyday without fail that life is an adventure, that every second of our journey counts. And for all those who live with cancer directly or indirectly, the survivors, and in memory of the brave ones who fought hard before losing the battle.
