I'm taking part in the London Nightrider event which is an overnight cycle ride of 100kms around London, starting just before midnight on Sat 9th June at Crystal Palace and finishing back there sometime on Sunday morning! I've never cycled anywhere near that far before, so this is a real challenge. I'm raising money for the Stroke Association who fund valuable research into medical techniques for prevention and treatment of strokes and help stroke victims. My own father benefitted from surgery to remove a blockage from his charotic artery last autumn and has a new lease of life from it. So please donate generously and make my bikeride feel worthwhile!
