Berlin Half Marathon 2010 · 28 March 2010

Samaritans help people who are in crisis, feel distressed or are thinking of suicide, we give them the time and space to talk about feelings, help explore options and perhaps seek a way to face the future. Our trained volunteers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Story

Hello!

Thanks for taking the time to click to my just giving page.

I am running the Berlin Half Marathon for the Samaritans (the Lewisham, Greenwich and Southwark Branch) and it would be great to have your support.

Samaritans provides confidential non-judgemental emotional support, 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which could lead to suicide. Your support will go towards meeting the costs of running our branch, training new and existing volunteers and generally keeping our phone lines (wo)manned and our centre open.

I know the pic is of me cycling - or pretending I do - but believe me, I will be running all the way round.....I am just not making any promises about how long it's going to take.......
