Story
I sadly lost my wonderful Grandad to prostate cancer late in 2015. He saw me run my first and second half marathon and was always so proud of me. Now I'd like to challenge myself even more.
I'm running a marathon in one of my grandad's favourite cities (Edinburgh) in his memory and to help others suffering with this illness. I hope that one day we'll find a way to save people's lives.
Challenging myself by running silly distances keeps my mind busy and acts as a great coping mechanism. It also means I get to eat extra cake...so a marathon is win win!
I really appreciate your support and if you can make it there on the day (Sunday 29th May) please come cheer me along - I'll need somebody at every mile!
