I am running my first Ultra Marathon in July and am raising funds for a charity that is very close to my heart. In September 2015  one of my best friends lives' changed forever, Zalehka suffered a brain injury and with this, lost the girl that she once was. It has been a long journey for Zally where she has had to adjust to her 'new' life. There have been plenty of lows along the way but she always bounces back with strength and positivity. She is one of the strongest people I know. I will never know what she has gone through and how she copes, but I do know that HeadWay Cardiff came along at the right time, giving her a new lease of life with people that could support and understand her. Hopefully through my challenge I can give something back to them to help them continue their vital work.
